General Exclusions (Comprehensive Insurance)

 
  1. Intentional acts by the driver or insured person.
  2. Use of the vehicle for purposes other than those stated in the policy.
  3. Mechanical or electrical breakdowns not caused by an accident.
  4. Driving without a valid license.

Commercial – Motor Insurance for Civil Liability

This policy covers civil liability for damage caused to third parties resulting from road traffic accidents within the Arab Republic of Egypt.

  • The policy compensates for:
    • Bodily injury or death of any person (other than the driver).
    • Material damage to property owned by others as a result of the insured vehicle’s use.

Civil Liability for Motor Insurance Commercial – Motor

Optional Insurance Policy for Bodily Civil Liability Arising from Accidents of Motor Vehicles Within the Arab Republic of Egypt

The company undertakes, in the event of an accident involving third parties resulting from or arising out of the use of the insured vehicle—within the limits of the insurer’s maximum liability clause—to pay all amounts exceeding the insurance amount specified in the compulsory insurance policy for motor vehicle accidents within the Arab Republic of Egypt, issued in accordance with Law No. 72 of 2007.

These payments cover all sums for which the insured becomes legally liable towards third parties under a final judicial ruling, including legal expenses and fees, in the event of any of the following occurrences:

Death

Total or partial permanent disability

Bodily injury


The coverage stated in the above-mentioned clauses applies in cases where death occurs or the injury worsens within one year from the date of the accident.

The term “third parties” includes passengers, and a person is considered a passenger whether they are inside the vehicle, boarding it, or alighting from it.
